Named vice president of information technology (IT) in 2025, Hetal Desai leads the development and execution of our IT strategy. She is responsible for advancing information and technology and ensuring the organization has the capabilities needed to drive business success.

Joining Swagelok in 2021 as a senior IT manager, Hetal worked to strengthen the partnership between IT and business operations. Her technical and business knowledge, strong collaboration, and dependable guidance delivered impactful results across multiple functional areas.

In 2024, Hetal was promoted to IT director, business operations platforms. In this leadership role, she re-envisioned the team’s structure, guided the technology project portfolio, and oversaw the development and implementation of technology platforms supporting the company’s operations strategies.

Prior to joining Swagelok, Hetal spent over a decade at The Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company, holding leadership roles in IT as well as sales and marketing. Beyond her daily responsibilities at Swagelok, she also serves on the board of the International Institute of Akron and the board of Global Cleveland. Outside of work, Hetal enjoys spending time with her family and traveling to explore different countries and cultures.
