IPT Series Medium-Pressure Double Block and Bleed Valves

Swagelok® Medium-Pressure Double Block and Bleed Valves (IPT Series)

Swagelok IPT series block and bleed valves feature a trunnion-style ball design that seals consistently across a full range of pressures, enabling reliable operation for improved actuation of control systems.

Request More Information

IPT series block and bleed valves are rated for pressures up to 20 000 psig (1378 bar) and are available in both 316 stainless steel and 2507 super duplex alloy construction in two configurations:

  • Single block and bleed (needle/needle)
  • Double block and bleed (ball/needle/ball or needle/needle/needle)

IPT series medium-pressure block and bleed valves allow operators to isolate the flow of fluids in a system to prevent it from reaching components of a system downstream, then drain off remaining fluid on the downstream side of the valve. IPT series valves featuring double block and bleed configurations provide double positive isolation, allowing MRO activity, sampling, leak checks, or other crucial tasks to be conducted downstream.

The IPT series trunnion-style ball design provides a consistent seal across a full range of pressures, even if systems are depressurized and repressurized, enabling improved actuation of control systems. IPT series needle valves with a vee stem design control the vent port between the block valves.
