 Whitey Company
Whitey Tool and Die Company was added to the Swagelok family in 1958. The company, later renamed Whitey Company, made specialty equipment and small needle valves for the petrochemical and refining industries. Its product line grew to include the 40 series instrument ball valve, which offered positive shut off, compact size, flexibility in fluid direction, and one-piece construction. Whitey continued its product expansion to include high-pressure and high-flow ball valves, sample cylinders, instrument manifolds, and other valve products.
