Testing Every JB series needle valve is factory tested for bubble-tight shutoff at 100 psi (6.8 bar) differential pressure. Shell testing is performed on a sampling basis at 3000 psig (206 bar) to a requirement of no detectable leakage.
Cleaning and Packaging Every JB series needle valve is cleaned and packaged in accordance with Swagelok Standard Cleaning and Packaging (SC-10).
Options Standard ball stem tip is 316 stainless steel; 440C stainless steel and cobalt-based alloy material are available. Nonrotating ball shutoff stem is standard; regulating stem is available. Standard handle is anodized aluminum; stainless steel bar handles are available.

Testing Every JN series needle valve is factory tested with nitrogen at 100 psig (6.8 bar). Seats have a maximum allowable leak rate of 0.1 std cm 3 /min. Shell testing is performed with nitrogen at 100 psig (6.8 bar) on a sampling basis to a requirement of no detectable leakage with a liquid leak detector.
Cleaning and Packaging Every JB series needle valve is cleaned and packaged in accordance with Swagelok Standard Cleaning and Packaging (SC-10).
Options Vee shutoff stem is standard; regulating stem is available. Green phenolic handle is standard; black, blue, red, and yellow are available. Panel mounting is available.
