CA Series
The CA series is a two-piece stainless steel or brass check valve with O-ring body seal.

CPA Series

Compact, one-piece pipe-ended body with fully contained O-ring seal and adjustable spring.

Up to 3000 psig (204 bar) –50 to 375°F (–45 to 190°C)  50 to 150 psi (3.5 to 10.4 bar) through 350 to 600 psi (24.2 to 41.4 bar)  0.35 and 1.20 316 stainless steel, brass Fluorocarbon FKM, Buna N NPT and male ISO 1/4 and 1/2 in.

Deflector Cap 
A polyethylene deflector cap is available for CPA series valves with male NPT end connections. The deflector cap deflects f ow from direct contact with personnel and prevents atmospheric contaminants from entering the valve.

Testing  
Every CA and CPA series check valve is factory tested for crack and reseal performance with a liquid leak detector. Every valve is tested at a low-pressure setting and at a high-pressure setting. All valves must seal within 5 s at the appropriate reseal pressure.

Cleaning and Packaging
Every CA series check valve with VCR end connections is processed in accordance with Swagelok Special Cleaning and Packaging (SC-11) to ensure compliance with product cleanliness requirements as stated in ASTM G93 Level C.
All other CA series check valves, as well as every CPA series check valve, are cleaned in accordance with Swagelok Standard Cleaning and Packaging (SC-10). 

Options
Seal Material
Fluorocarbon FKM O -rings are standard in 316 stainless steel valves and optional in brass valves; Buna N O-rings are standard in brass valves and optional in 316 stainless steel valves. Ethylene propylene and neoprene O-rings are also available.

Special Alloys
Springs of alloy 400 or alloy C-276 are available in some sizes. Valve bodies of alloy R-405, carbon steel, aluminum, or other alloys are available in some sizes.

PTFE-Coated Springs
Springs with PTFE coating are available in some sizes.

Special Cleaning
Special cleaning and packaging in accordance with Swagelok Special Cleaning and Packaging (SC-11) to ensure compliance with product cleanliness requirements as stated in ASTM G93 Level C is available for valves with Swagelok tube fitting or NPT end connections.

Maintenance Kits
Seal kits and spring kits are available.
