TAP Your Steam System Training:
One Day Steam Program
"TAP" stands for "Ten Action Points" of a steam system. TAP Your Steam System Training is an exciting fast-paced one-day course. Attendees work in teams to accomplish different tasks relating to a steam system.
TAP Your Steam System Training is for all individuals looking to gain more knowledge of steam systems but may not be able to spend more than one day in a course.
Areas covered in the course include:
- Steam Fundamentals
- Steam Traps
- Valves
- Testing
- Flash Steam Loss
- Waterhammer
As with each of the courses, the unique Steam Group Concept is used during the class. The attendees work in teams of two or three. The team concept has been proven to enhance the experience by permitting a more conducive learning environment.
During the program, our instructors will teach and illustrate true steam system principals. The teams will use and reference CAD prints of an actual steam system operation while completing tasks to practice and demonstrate their acquired knowledge. This ensures maximized comprehension of the training course.
