Testing

Every Swagelok medium-pressure ball valve is factory tested with nitrogen at 1000 psig (68.9 bar). Seats have a maximum allowable leak rate of 0.1 std cm³/min. Shell testing is performed to a requirement of no detectable leakage with a liquid leak detector.

Cleaning and Packaging

All Swagelok medium-pressure ball valves are cleaned and packaged in accordance with Swagelok Standard Cleaning and Packaging (SC-10).

Options and Accessories

Stainless steel bar handles with blue electrostatic powder coating are standard. Black, green, orange, red, and yellow colors are available.
Locking handle, panel nut, cap screw, and replacement stop disk kits are available.

Pneumatic actuator options include solenoid valves, position indicators, and limit switches.
