Swagelok® Medium-Pressure Tubing and Pre-Coned Tubing
Swagelok offers 316 stainless steel medium-pressure tubing with working pressures up to 15 000 psig (1034 bar) for use with medium-pressure fittings, as well as as pre-coned tubing rated up to 60 000 psig (4134 bar) for use in high-pressure applications.
- Medium-pressure tubing
- Pre-coned tubing
Medium-Pressure Tubing, Heavy-Wall Annealed and Cold-Drawn 1/8-Hard
Cold-drawn 1/8-hard tubing is more robust and allows for reduced wall thickness
and enhanced flow through the same diameter tube. All Swagelok medium-pressure tubing
is marked to indicate size, material, condition, and heat number.

Electric-Traced
Swagelok electric-traced bundled tubing maintains consistent temperatures in long, continuous lengths of impulse and sample lines for freeze protection, temperature maintenance up to 250°F
(121°C), or viscosity control
Steam-Traced
Swagelok light steam-traced bundled tubing is typically used for freeze protection of instrument impulse lines and analyzer transport lines. It can also maintain temperatures in smaller- diameter process lines from 50 to 200°F (10 to 93°C).
Swagelok heavy steam-traced bundled tubing is typically used to maintain higher process temperature from 200 to 400°F (93 to 204°C). or for viscosity control. Applications can include impulse, sampling, and process lines.
