Testing
Every Swagelok C series hose assembly is pressure tested with water at room temperature for 30 seconds to a requirement of no detectable leakage.
- For hose assemblies 1 in. and under, testing is performed at 1000 psig (69 bar), or 225 psig (15.5 bar) if an end connection is rated below 1000 psig (69 bar).
- For hose assemblies over 1 in., testing is performed at 500 psig (34.4 bar), or 225 psig (15.5 bar) if an end connection is rated below 500 psig (34.4 bar).
Coreflex N Series—Carbon Black-Filled, Insulating Wrap, Aramid Fiber Braid
N series hose is commonly used where flexibility, chemical compatibility, and a nonconductive braid are desired. Custom-length assemblies are available.

Cleaning and Packaging
Every Swagelok PTFE hose component is cleaned in accordance with Swagelok Standard Cleaning and Packaging (SC-10). Each hose is bagged, as appropriate,.with the Certification of Compliance (Hose), Material Test Report (End Connection), and Proof Pressure Test Certificate.
Options
Options include fire jacket, armor guard, and spiral guard hose covers and hose tags.
