Nupro Company
 In 1956, growth in the nuclear power industry, led to the formation of Nuclear Products Company, later renamed Nupro Company. The business designed, built, and marketed small needle and check valves. Nupro developed a special metering valve that provided precise control of carrier gas for chromatography. Growth in analytical instrumentation spurred greater product development in needle valves, check valves, metering valves, filters, excess flow valves, and relief valves. With the emergence of the semiconductor industry Nupro® bellows valves were developed to meet high-purity requirements. Soon, Nupro Company would become an innovative force in semiconductor fluid systems by developing ultrahigh purity Nupro diaphragm valves.
