March 08, 2004 04:32 PM Eastern Time New from Swagelok -- Vaporizing Pressure Regulators
New Swagelok® vaporizing pressure regulators are now available to vaporize liquid samples or preheat gas samples. Two models are available:
- The KEV series electrically heated vaporizing pressure regulator is ATEX (CENELEC) and CSA certified for critical/hazardous environments. The regulator is used to heat incoming gas samples or vaporize liquid samples and operates with inlet pressures up to 3600 psig (248 bar). Designed for maximum thermal efficiency, the heater is removable and simplifies cleaning. A choice of 40, 50, 100, 150, and 200 watt heaters is available.
- The KSV series steam-heated, vaporizing, pressure-reducing regulator has low internal volume and vaporizes liquid samples or preheats gas samples. This regulator has a maximum rated inlet pressure of 3600 psi (248 bar) and outlet pressure ranges up to 500 psig (34.4 bar).
Both models feature 316 stainless steel construction; material traceability is available.
