Swagelok Company Names New Directors in Marketing, Marketing Communications
Duane Hampton named Director of Product and Market Development, Jacqueline Ekey named Director of Marketing Communications. The appointments of Duane Hampton to director of product and market development and Jacqueline Ekey to director of marketing communications were announced by Arthur F. Anton, president and chief operating officer of Swagelok Company, a major designer and manufacturer of fluid system component technology for global industry.
As director of product and market development, Duane Hampton is leading Swagelok market teams who develop market strategies, new products, services, and product promotions for general industrial markets including chemicals, oil and gas, power, and alternative fuels. Prior to joining Swagelok in June 2002, Hampton gained over 22 years of experience in test engineering, project management, marketing management and sales management with several Cleveland-area companies involved in industrial equipment and distribution. He holds an M.B.A. from Baldwin-Wallace College and a bachelor of science degree in mechanical engineering from Cleveland State University.
As director of marketing communications, Jackie Ekey leads a team responsible for global marketing communications services in support of the Swagelok Company brand, Swagelok Semiconductor Services Company, Swagelok Biopharm Services Company, Swagelok Manufacturing Services Company, and Swagelok Capital Projects Company. In addition, Ekey is responsible for coordination of marketing communication activities in the European and Asia Pacific regions.
Since joining the Swagelok Company communications department in 1997, Ekey has led a variety of marketing communications efforts. She holds a bachelor of science degree from Notre Dame College of Cleveland and an M.B.A. from Baldwin-Wallace College.
