The appointment of John E. Baxter to director of product development, Swagelok Semiconductor Services Company (SSSC), was announced by Phillip I. Roberts, president, SSSC, a strategic business unit of Swagelok Company. As director of product development, John Baxter is responsible for the product development and engineered-to-order products (ETOP) groups in northeast Ohio and the semiconductor engineering center in Santa Clara, California. The continued growth of the product development and ETOP activities demonstrates the company's commitment to closer, more responsive and flexible relationships with end-customers in the semiconductor manufacturing industry.
Most recently director of marketing, SSSC, Baxter began his career with Swagelok Company as an engineer specializing in semiconductor industry product development. Throughout his 17 years at Swagelok, Baxter has been active in the design, manufacturing, quality assurance, product management, and market management of semiconductor industry products. Baxter has also represented Swagelok at various standards meetings and committees, including SEMI. He holds a bachelor of science degree in mechanical engineering from Cleveland State University.
