The appointment of Ken Malec to vice president, continuous improvement was announced by Arthur F. Anton, president and chief executive officer of Swagelok Company, a major designer and manufacturer of fluid system component technology for global industry.
As vice president, continuous improvement, Ken Malec leads a newly formed team that is responsible for developing manufacturing and in-bound supply chain strategies, as well as creating a business-wide lean enterprise. Malec has more than 25 years of manufacturing and engineering experience with the organization and, most recently, served as vice president, operations. He holds a bachelor of science degree in mechanical engineering and a master's degree in engineering management, both from Cleveland State University.
