Swagelok Company Launches O-Ring Free, UHP Fluoropolymer Check Valve

Swagelok Semiconductor Services Company (SSSC) announces the latest addition to its family of UHP fluoropolymer products -- the CHP series O-ring free, ultrahigh-purity fluoropolymer check valve. The CHP series valve features Dupont(R) Teflon(R) modified PTFE and PFA wetted components and comes standard with fine thread flare or Nippon Pillar(R) Super 300 end connections.

In addition to its low cracking and reseal pressure, the valve's design includes a tongue-and-groove shell seal, which provides leak-tight integrity during thermal cycling and high-pressure applications. The contoured poppet shape reduces turbulence and minimizes pressure drop while the open-cage design of the retainer ensures poppet alignment and eliminates no-flow areas.

Headquartered in Santa Clara, California, with manufacturing and distribution facilities located near Cleveland, Ohio, U.S.A., Swagelok Semiconductor Services Company is a strategic business unit of Swagelok Company, dedicated to developing and manufacturing fluid system component technology for the global semiconductor manufacturing industry.
