Swagelok Company Supply Chain Integration Project Wins Award for Excellence in Customer Satisfaction
Swagelok Company, a major developer and manufacturer of fluid system components, won the i2 Technologies Ken Sharma Award for Excellence in Customer Satisfaction. This award recognizes the company's effort to streamline and reduce costs in its supply chain while continuing to improve end-customer service and satisfaction.

Through an 18-month project, Swagelok's i2 software solution was integrated with internally developed systems to increase the speed and number of automatically generated product quotes and orders available through the company's e-business systems. This improvement enables global Swagelok distributors to provide quote or delivery information to customers faster. At the same time, Swagelok is leveraging the system to improve synchronization so that promised orders are delivered with exceptional accuracy and timeliness through its lean supply and production systems.
