In the design, installation, and maintenance of fluid systems, there are a variety of choices in tube fittings. Many people have come to rely on Swagelok® tube fittings due to their extraordinarily reliable performance in a broad range of applications.

The Swagelok tube fitting is an easy-to install, live-loaded, two-ferrule design that offers consistent gaugeability upon initial installation. Swagelok tube fittings are available in a complete range of materials and configurations in sizes from 1/16 to 2 in. and 2 to 50 mm.

No torque is transmitted to tubing during installation.
Swagelok gap inspection gauge ensures sufficient pull-up upon initial installation.

Gaugeability
On initial installation, the Swagelok gap inspection gauge assures the installer or inspector that a fitting has been sufficiently tightened. Position the Swagelok gap inspection gauge next to the gap between the nut and body.

If the gauge will not enter the gap, the fitting is sufficiently tightened.

If the gauge will enter the gap, additional tightening is required.
