Our People

Brent was born in Edmonton and raised in Calgary, Alberta. He's been actively involved in the fluid systems industry since 1980 with such companies as Crane Supply in Calgary, Calgary Tube Sales, Calgary Valve & Fitting, and Red Deer Valve & Fitting. His roles included Sales, Customer Service, and Management.

Brent worked for Swagelok Canada in Niagara Falls, Ontario from 1995-1997 in the role of Distributor Sales Support and acquired a Mississauga company called Weston Valve & Fitting in 1997. He went on to purchase Ottawa Fluid System Technologies and Avon Fluid System Technologies in 2005 in order to provide consistent customer support across Central, Eastern, and Northern Ontario. These three branch offices are now known collectively as Swagelok Central Ontario. Brent works in the Mississauga office.

With a wealth of experience providing fluid system solutions to the Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, Pharmaceutical, and Nuclear industries, Brent is always seeking out new opportunities to deliver value beyond the expected.

In his spare time, Brent enjoys golfing and is a member of the RattleSnake Point Golf Club. Brent is married to Judy and has two sons, Cameron and Jeremy.

As Business Development Manager, Phil Reid is responsible for managing Swagelok Central Ontario's entire sales force in Central, Eastern, and Northern Ontario.

Phil started with the organization in 1987 as an Outside Sales Associate covering sections of Eastern Ontario. In 1996, he assumed the role of Training and Technical Support Manager in Eastern Ontario. Four years later, the territory he managed increased to include much of the Greater Toronto Area (GTA). In 2005, Phil became the Business Development Manager for all of Swagelok Central Ontario. 

Phil has a tremendous amount of experience working with the Chemical, Petrochemical, Power, Nuclear, Tire & Rubber, and Pulp & Paper industries. Also, his excellent technical product knowledge continues to be a valuable resource for Engineering and Design firms and Mechanical Contractors.

Steve is the Branch Manager of Swagelok Central Ontario - Avon Fluid System Technologies in Scarborough, Ontario. He has over 10 years experience in the fluid systems industry serving a diverse range of clientele. His clients include OEM's, Engineers, Mechanical Contractors, Purchasing Agents, and Nuclear Professionals.

Steve is a member of the Markham Soccer Club and loves playing soccer and fishing in his spare time. He also enjoys spending time with his wife Lisa and his cat Molson.

Ron is the Branch Manager of Swagelok Central Ontario's Ottawa office. He has 15 years experience with Swagelok Central Ontario in a variety of positions and oversees the business operations and quality controls of the Ottawa branch.

A dedication to quality and integrity drives Ron to set high standards for himself, his branch, and Swagelok Central Ontario as a whole. 

Ron is a Carleton University alum who enjoys eating well, playing hockey, and horse racing.
