Our company no longer has to finish with the supply of valves and fittings. We have a whole range of additional services certified, authorised and approved by Swagelok. Svafas now offers a dedicated business unit focussed on helping you produce your fluid systems efficiently and cost effectively. Based at our office in Stavanger, the Custom Solutions team is ready to help you succeed now.

Knowledge and Training Seminars

The integrity and performance of your fluid system, whether liquid or gas, depends on a combination of elements; good design, quality fluid system components and competent assembly and installation by qualified personnel. Improve the overall safety of the work environment, increase productivity and keep abreast of the latest fluid system technologies with our comprehensive customer training and education programs.

Svafas offers different training options for our customers, including;

Fitting & small bore tubing systems – OLF guidelines 120
Svafas was the first company in Norway which received an approval to train tube fitters in accordance to the new OLF-guidelines. This 2-days training course, includes both theoretical and practical training. By successfully passing the online exam, the students will be authorized to do fitting installations for the oil companies on the Norwegian continental shelf.

Tube Fitting Installation and Safety Seminars
As a leader in training engineers and installers in the proper use and installation of the Swagelok tube fitting. We know that correct tube fitting installation is essential for productive and safe system operation. Each year, Svafas associates train hundreds of customers in the leak-tight installation of the Swagelok tube fitting. Svafas can offer customized training to you and your company. Typical duration of these courses is 2-4 hours.

Students receive hands-on training in the proper use, installation, and maintenance of Swagelok tube fittings. Participants will learn practices that will help minimize fluid system installation and maintenance costs.

The course topics include:

    Tube and pipe installation

    Proper tube fitting assembly

    Proper installation of adapters, caps, plugs and other fittings

    Proper tube bending techniques

Valve seminars
