Fred Lennon (1905 – 1998)
It took a person of unusual focus, dedication, and integrity to build the Swagelok organization into an entity known worldwide for product and service reliability. And, it took a unique personality to avoid the fame usually associated with that level of accomplishment.
Despite his position of prominence, Fred A. Lennon managed to retain his humility, generosity, and humor so well known to Swagelok associates, authorized sales and service representatives, and customers. His extraordinary passion for quality lives on in the culture of the organization today.
Mr. Lennon was honored posthumously in 2001 by the Cleveland area business community with membership in the Northeast Ohio Business Hall of Fame. He was recognized for his business accomplishments, activism in politics and philanthropy.
